All our bags are checked individually. However, for your satisfaction you can have the goods inspected by a third party of your choice at your cost prior to shipment.

Samples can be made ready in a week’s time with customised prints. Screen set-up charges are 15 USD per colour with a minimum of 50 USD. We need your courier account details to send samples.

Ocean Freight: For Full Container Load (FCL) approximately 7 to 10% of the price of the bag. For smaller shipments (LCL) approximately 10% to 15% of the price of the bag.

Air Freight: Depends on the volume of the order. For smaller quantity its approximately 125% of the price of the bag, depending on the shipment location.

All prices quotes are FOB Kolkata, India Port price. Prices of the bags will depend on the quantity as well.

All sizes are outside dimension in inches – height x width x gusset format.

Size variation should be acceptable by +/- 0.25 inches as the bags are handcrafted.

Please assist us for quick processing of orders by specifying Style Number, Front, Back and Sides Colour, Printing matter and colour, Quantity and Shipping date.

Minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 1000 pieces per style per colour and Mimimum order value (MOV) is 5000 USD. We do accept smaller quantities, with a surcharge of 350 USD.

We reserve the right to ship and bill 5% over/under the order quantity.

Normal lead time is 6-8 weeks from the date of order, artwork approval and advanced deposit received. When production time allows, rush orders may be pre-approved at no charge.

Jute bags are generally coated inside with PP or LDPE lining unless specified otheriwse. Colours are dyed to match PMS, however exact colour matching is not possible due to the natural fibres. Thus, the shade may differ slightly from lot to lot.

Bags are silk screen printed and might have registration variation as printing is done by hand. Printing cost depends on number of colours used and coverage area. Printing costs 10 US cents for the first colour and then approximately 5 US cents for additional colours.

Customised sizes, shapes, handles, fabric colour as well as prints can be provided. Contact us for quotes for development of the same.

Customised labels, bar code sticker/hangtags are available at an extra cost.

All orders are packaged in bulk in standard sized cartons (22” x 18” x 15”) unless otherwise requested. Quotes will differ if specific packaging or individual poly packing is required.

A choice of handles is available as under:

-Self Handles, Rope handles, Cotton Tape handles (Cheapest Options)

-Cotton Padded Handles (Most Favoured Option)

-Straight Bamboo Handles or Different shapes of Cane (Also know as Ratan)

-Leather and Faux Leather

These handles are also fixed with Eyelets and Rivets adding to the cost of the bag. We can also do a wide range of handcrafted handles embellished with shells, beads etc.

The value of bag can be increased by including:

-Snap buttons/Velcro Closure

-Zipper closure

-Inside/Outside pockets(with or without zippers)

-Board for stiffer bottoms

-Your company/ brand name hang tags and wash care labels and customised packaging

Products in our catalogue are design registered by Earthbags and its affiliates.

Azo Free Direct Dyes are used in all our bags. We can also use Reach Compliant Dyes required as per EU norms when specified, which adds to the cost. The inks used for printing are pigment colours and also Azo free. However, full colour fastness cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of this oxy cellulose fibre.
